The importance of roof decking
With a roof deck, you can usually replace damaged vibration or shingles simply by installing new ones on small pieces. Even a heavy terracotta roof will be supported and will not collapse on the structure below.
It is important to note that roof decks and roof liners are not the same thing. The latter is an additional layer of material placed above the roof deck and below the top layer of the facade. It provides more stability and provides another barrier against the weather.
